The Vaesen - Nordic Horror Roleplaying Starter Set offers players an entry level RPG product with a set of condensed rules for action skill tests, combat, damage, and fear. The boxed set includes an introductory mystery, The Haunting of Castle Gyllencreutz, that allows players to explore the headquarters of the monster-hunting Society itself, and five pre-generated characters. It also contains the Codex Occultum, the Society’s old journal of vaesen, as well as maps, handouts, rules reference cards, initiative cards, and engraved custom dice.
